Michael Quacinella, MD

Dr. Michael Quacinella is a fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon and U.S. Navy veteran. He completed his OTA-accredited orthopedic trauma fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN — a nationally recognized Level 1 academic trauma center — where he received advanced training in pelvic, acetabular, and complex periarticular fracture care.

After fellowship, Dr. Quacinella served as a U.S. Navy orthopedic trauma surgeon, gaining high-stakes operational experience that civilian training alone cannot replicate. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and now practices in San Diego, where he treats the full spectrum of orthopedic injury — from life-threatening high-energy trauma to common fractures.
